Gardaí investigating online threats against Tánaiste Simon Harris and his family have arrested and charged a woman on Thursday.

The woman, aged in her 30s, is due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice on Thursday morning.

This comes after gardaí were alerted to a social media post that contained a threat in recent months.

Gardaí previously arrested and subsequently released a woman in her 30s at the beginning of September in relation to the same incident.
