Man and woman charged in relation to €2.1 million drug seizure

Two people have been charged in connection with a multi-million euro drugs seizure.

Cannabis and cocaine worth €2.1 million were recovered when a number of houses were searched in Wicklow and Dublin on Thursday.

Five people were arrested.

Two of those, a man and a woman, both in their 40s, are due before the Criminal Courts of Justice on Saturday.

Gardaí have said their investigations are ongoing.
