A sister of missing woman Jo Jo Dullard has pledged to continue fighting for her.

The 21-year-old disappeared while making her way back to Callan from Dublin on November 9th, 1995. Her last confirmed sighting was at a phone booth in Moone, County Kildare.

Ms Dullard's case was upgraded to one of murder in 2020, and last year, just days after the 29th anniversary of her disappearance, a four-week search took place on lands in County Wicklow.

While she wasn’t found, gardaí are adamant the search will go on.

This Sunday, 30 years after Ms Dullard was seen, family, friends and those touched by her story will walk to the Missing Persons Monument in her memory.

Speaking this week, her sister Kathleen Bergin said: "It is 30 years this Sunday since Jo Jo disappeared, and I know people say it is just another milestone, but to us it is another year without her."

She said they hoped the investigations this year would shed some light on Ms Dullard's disappearance.

"Even this year, it is even tougher as we obviously thought we would have been having a service for Jojo in different circumstances, but unfortunately, we are in the same situation without answers.

"We will keep looking for her until she comes home. We will keep fighting for Jo Jo."

She thanked the public for all their help and support and urged anyone with any information to come forward.

The remembrance walk and service will commence in the courtyard of Castle Park in Kilkenny at 2pm this Sunday, where a walk will take place to the National Missing Persons monument.
