Gardaí have arrested 11 men on international arrest warrants wanted on suspicion of crimes including attempted murder and human trafficking.

The arrests were made from November 3rd to 5th in counties Dublin, Cavan, Meath and Monaghan.

The operation was led by the Garda Extradition Unit with support from members attached to other sections of the Garda National Bureau of Criminal Investigation.

The operation resulted in the arrest of 11 men who have been brought before the High Court for offences including; attempted murder, supply of drugs, kidnapping, facilitation of illegal immigration, human trafficking, theft and road traffic offences that were committed in other jurisdictions including Northern Ireland, Poland, Romania, Netherlands, Italy, Hungary, Germany and Lithuania.
