A man in his late teens has been charged in connection with the seizure of guns in Dublin.

Several weapons were discovered this week as part of an investigation into the sale and supply of drugs in the Inner City.

This planned operation saw a vehicle searched in the Beaumont area in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Several firearms, ammunition, and a small quantity of drugs were found.

Among the weapons were a lever-action rifle, a crossbow, two disassembled handguns, an air pistol, and knives.

Crack cocaine, cocaine, diamorphine, and cannabis worth over €2,500 were also discovered.

A man in his late teens has been charged and is due before the Criminal Courts of Justice on Friday morning.
