Possible impacts include localised flooding, difficult travel conditions, and poor visibility.

There will also be a status yellow wind warning for Cork, Kerry, Waterford, and Wexford on Thursday.

This will be in effect from 11am until 11pm on Thursday, with Met Éireann predicting very strong and gusty southerly winds with gales on coasts.

Other possible impacts include difficult travel conditions, some fallen trees, and wave overtopping.

There is also a yellow rain warning in place for Galway and Mayo from 12pm to 8pm.

The UK Met Office has also issued yellow wind warnings for Antrim, Armagh, Down, Fermanagh, Tyrone, and Derry from 1pm to 11pm.
