Gardaí investigating after two men and woman assaulted in Galway city

Gardaí are investigating after two men and a woman were injured in separate incidents in Galway City over the bank holiday weekend.

On Friday, a young man was assaulted on Abbeygate Street Upper at 10pm, and received treatment for facial injuries.

Anyone who may have any information in relation to this incident are asked to contact Galway Garda Station on 091-538000.

Separately, in the early hours of Monday morning, a man and a woman in their 20s were assaulted on Dominick Street.

They were taken by ambulance to University Hospital Galway for the treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
