Center Parc enjoys record revenues of €2 million per week

The €365 million Center Parcs holiday resort in Co Longford has this year recorded average weekly revenues of almost €2 million

Operating profits increased by 13 per cent to €33.3 million.

In another record year for the business, new accounts filed by Center Parcs Ireland Ltd show that revenues at the Co Longford resort rose by 4 per cent to €101 million - or €1.94 million per week on average - in the 12 months to the end of April 24th this year.

The Center Parcs Irish business achieved the increase in revenues and operating profits on the back of occupancy rates of 97.6 per cent, which was a slight drop on the occupancy rates of 98.7 per cent in fiscal 2024.

Occupancy rates across Center Parcs's five holiday villages in the UK was 97.3 per cent for this year.

Last year, construction work commenced on a €100 million expansion of the village at Co Longford with the addition of 198 lodges and luxury treehouses, which will increase the resort’s capacity to around 3,500 guests.

Center Parcs opened its first forest resort in the UK in 1987 and opened Center Parcs Longford in 2019.

Numbers employed at the Longford Village resort this year decreased by 33 to 1,268 as staff costs increased by 6 per cent to €29.6 million.
