Dublin Airport will add 25extra take-off and landing slots a day from March to October next year.

It comes as the Irish Aviation Authority (IAA) has published its final decision on Dublin Airport’s Summer 2026 capacity.

The Irish Times reported that this could mean up to 5,000 more flights next summer.

This decision comes despite the passenger cap, which limits the passenger capacity of Dublin Airport to 32 million per year.

The IAA says the additional slots will support increased competition.
