Poll: Do you think Dublin is a safe city?

Minister for Justice Jim O'Callaghan has said most people still feel safe in Dublin city after reports that Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Skylar Thompson was mugged in the country's capital on Friday.

O'Callaghan said Dublin is a city and county of 1.3 million people, so "we're always going to have incidents there".

It was reported that Thompson suffered minor injuries after the alleged incident and required medical assistance ahead of the match between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Minnesota Vikings in Croke Park on Sunday.

Do you think Dublin is a safe city? Let us know by taking our poll.
