Second man dies following Co Down road crash

A second man has died following a road crash in Downpatrick earlier this month.

Police said Caoimhin Teggart died in hospital on Monday night from his injuries. He was 28 and from the Kilkeel area of Co Down.

The two-vehicle collision occurred on Monday, September 15th.

Ryan Cunningham, 21, also died following the collision between a silver VW Bora and a grey Toyota Avensis on the Ballydugan Road.

Police said their investigation is ongoing.

A spokesperson said: “Anyone with information or dash-cam footage and who has not yet contacted police is asked to 101 quoting 760 15/09/25.”
