The boy was taken to the Mater Hospital, while gardaí have preserved the scene and carried out a technical examination.

A teenage boy is in critical condition after a serious assault on Eden Quay in Dublin.

The incident happened at a licensed premises around 10pm on Sunday.

The boy was taken to the Mater Hospital, while gardaí have preserved the scene and carried out a technical examination.

Anyone with information or video footage is asked to contact Store Street Garda Station
