There are 447 admitted patients waiting for beds on Monday morning, according to Monday’s Trolley Watch from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO).

A total of 307 patients are waiting in the emergency department, while 140 are in wards elsewhere in the hospital.

The most overcrowded hospital is University Hospital Limerick, with 105 on trollies, followed by Cork University Hospital with 41 without beds.
