Man (20s) dies after crash in Co Galway
A man in his 20s has died in a crash in Co Galway.
The collision between a car and a van happened on the N17 at Milltown shortly after 8am on Friday morning.
The driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene. A postmortem is due to be carried out at University Hospital Galway.
The driver of the van, a man in his 50s, was airlifted to University Hospital Galway for treatment of serious injuries.
The road is closed between Milltown and Ballindine for a technical exam.
