A man has been charged in connection with the murder of Lee Slattery in Limerick in 2010.

The 25-year-old's body was discovered in the Delmege House estate near Moyross in May 2010.

A man in his 30s, who was arrested on Tuesday, has been charged and is due to appear in front of the Limerick District Court on Wednesday afternoon.

Two men and a woman in their 30s remain detained at Garda Stations in the Southern Region.

Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
