Man arrested and €192,000 cannabis seized in Dublin city

€192,000 worth of cannabis was seized, and a man in his 30s was arrested in Dublin 1 on Tuesday.

Gardaí from the Dublin Crime Response team carried out a planned search operation of a residential property in Parnell St, and during the course of the search, the cannabis was discovered.

The man was arrested at the scene.

He is currently detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drugs Trafficking) Act, 1996, at a garda station in Dublin.

Investigations are ongoing, gardaí said.
