Gardaí have said they are investigating all circumstances following the discovery of a man's body in Co Tipperary in the early hours of Tuesday.

The man was found unresponsive in Carrick-on-Suir at around 2.30am.

He was brought to Waterford University Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

The scene remains preserved for technical examination.

Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
