Four people have been injured after a public order incident in Co Clare on Sunday evening.

Two men in their 20s, one in his 30s and one in his 40s sustained what are described as non-life threatening injuries.

Two of the men required hospital treatment.

It happened on Main Street in Milltown Malbay at 7:10pm on Sunday evening.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses and say investigations are ongoing.
