Gardaí investigate death of man (40s) discovered unresponsive in car

Gardaí are investigating the death of a man who was found unresponsive in a car in Co Tipperary.

Officers and emergency services attended the scene of the incident on the Old Dublin Road in Nenagh shortly after 10.10pm on Wednesday.

The man (40s) was found unresponsive at the scene, but died later in University Hospital Limerick.

The road reopened on Thursday morning following an examination of the scene.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses who may have any information regarding the incident to come forward.

Road users with camera footage, including dashcam recordings, who were travelling in the Nenagh area between 9pm and 10.30pm on Wednesday are asked to share this material with gardaí.
