Two people rescued from 40ft yacht in Kinsale

Two people have been rescued after their 40ft yacht got into difficulty off the Old Head of Kinsale in Cork on Friday morning. 

The Courtmacsherry All Weather RNLI Lifeboat was called out at 3:40am and the boat was towed back to the nearest port of Courtmacsherry.

No injuries have been reported.

The yacht was on the way from France to Ireland when it started taking on water.
