Investigation launched into ‘small’ fire at Conor McGregor’s Dublin pub

An investigation is under way into a small fire at Conor McGregor’s Dublin pub, the Black Forge Inn, in west Dublin.

Gardaí said they were investigating the incident as one of criminal damage.

Firefighters extinguished the “small” fire at the front of the premises on the Drimnagh Road after receiving a call at 3.08am.

“Using a high pressure hose reel, one fire engine dealt with the incident,” Dublin City Council said in a statement.

The scene was handed over to Gardaí who preserved the scene pending a technical examination.

No injuries have been reported.

The scene was preserved by gardaí ahead of a technical examination being carried out.

“Gardaí attended the scene of an incident of criminal damage at a licensed premises on the Drimnagh Road, Crumlin that occurred at approximately 3.00am,” Gardaí said in a statement.

“The fire was extinguished by Dublin Fire Brigade.

“Investigations are ongoing.”
