A woman has died from her injuries after she was struck by a vehicle in Dalkey, Co Dublin, last Sunday.

The incident happened at a car park on Castle Villas Street at 4:30 pm.

The pedestrian, a woman in her 70s, was conveyed to St. Vincent's Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

She was pronounced dead on Thursday.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to this incident to come forward. Anyone who was in the Castle Villas street area on Sunday 13th July 2025 between 4:15-4:45pm and who may have any information is asked to contact investigating gardaí.

Likewise, anyone who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) is asked to make that footage available.
