Teenager (16) dies after fall at lake in Co Kerry

A teenage boy has died after a fall at a lake in Kerry.

The 16-year-old died near Conor Pass on Tuesday afternoon.

Gardaí, Mountain Rescue, ambulance crews and Coast Guard helicopter Rescue 115 were called to the scene.

Gardaí say a post-mortem exam is due to take place and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
