Three people have been hospitalised following a fire at a building in Dublin city centre.

It broke out on the third floor of a premises off Granby Row at around 8:00 am on Tuesday morning.

Six fire engines were sent to the blaze, with seven people treated at the scene, three of which were transported to hospital.

The scene is currently being preserved and street is closed with local diversions in place.

The fire has now been brought under control.

Gardaí have said investigations are ongoing
