A man has been arrested in relation to an incident of criminal damage in Cork City in May.

It happened at a premises in the Turner's Cross area.

He was arrested on Saturday and detained following an operation carried out by the Crime Special Unit in Cork City.

The man in his 30s has since been charged and is scheduled to appear before Cork District Court on Monday.

Gardaí say investigations arfe ongoing.
