Trolley watch: 342 people waiting for beds across Irish hospitals

There were a total of 342 admitted patients waiting on trolleys in hospitals on Friday morning.

The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO) said University Hospital Limerick accounted for the largest number of those with 67, followed by University Hospital Galway with 51 and Sligo University Hospital with 29.

Of the total number of people waiting for beds, 243 were in emergency departments while 99 were in wards.
