Two men have been charged and will appear in court in connection with recent violence in Northern Ireland.

Detectives investigating disorder in Ballymena have charged a 23-year-old man with riot.

He will appear at Coleraine Magistrates’ Court on Monday.

Police investigating disorder in Portadown have charged a 20-year-old man with riotous behaviour.

He will appear at Lisburn Magistrates’ Court on Monday.

A 14-year-old boy who was arrested has been released on bail to allow for further inquiries.
