A man is being treated in hospital following a serious assault in Clondalkin in Dublin on Thursday morning. 

Gardaí say the attack happened at a retail centre on the Ninth Lock Road at 11.45am.

The man in his 30s was taken to Tallaght University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Gardaí are asking anyone who was in the area this morning between 11:30am and 12pm to come forward.
