Man (50s) dies following workplace accident in Co Mayo
A man has died following a fatal workplace accident in Westport, Co Mayo.
Gardaí and emergency services responded to an incident at a residence at Carrowholly on Tuesday.
The local Coroner and the Health and Safety Authority (HSA) have been notified.
The deceased, a man in his 50s, is set to undergo a postmortem examination.
Following the results, a file will be prepared for the Coroner.
