A man and a young woman are being treated in hospital for serious injuries following a three-vehicle crash near Clonroche in Co Wexford.

It happened on the N30 at Forestwood at around 2.40pm on Tuesday afternoon.

A man, aged in his 50s, and a woman, aged in her late teens, were taken to University Hospital Waterford for treatment.

Their injuries are understood to be serious, but not life-threatening.

Investigations are ongoing, gardaí said.
