Gardaí in Shankill arrested a man in his 20s on Thursday morning following a robbery at a business premises on the morning of Thursday, March 13th.

At approximately 5:30am on the day, gardaí responded to reports of a robbery at a retail premises on the Old Dublin Road, Bray.

A man entered the store brandishing a knife and threatened the staff. No persons were injured at the time.

In a follow-up operation involving gardaí from the Detective unit in Shankill, a man in his 20s was arrested on Thursday morning.

He is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984, at a Garda Station in the Dublin Region in connection with this incident.

Gardaí said investigations are ongoing.
