The good weather is set to continue through the week according to Met Éireann, with highs of up to 19 degrees on Monday.

Monday will be the warmest day of the year, with highest temperatures of 14 to 19 degrees.

Tuesday and Wednesday will also be dry and sunny days with highs of up to 19 degrees.

Thursday and Friday will also see temperatures of 19 degrees, with sunny spells following the clearing of fog.

At night, temperatures will be low, with patches of mist and fog. Monday could see some frost, with lowest temperatures of zero to six degrees.

Tuesday and Wednesday night will see temperatures drop to between two and four degrees.

The weekend will see a change in weather, with Saturday cooler than during the week, but mostly dry. Sunday will see showers and a slight decrease in temperatures
