Man (20s) arrested following serious assault in Dublin

A man in his 20s has been arrested following a serious assault in Dublin.
At noon on Tuesday, emergency services responded to a flat at the Old Convent on Basin Street and discovered a man in his 60s unresponsive at the scene.
He was taken to Beaumont Hospital, where he remains in a serious condition.
Gardaí say the scene has been preserved and has undergone a forensic examination.
