Man (50s) arrested as part of ongoing investigation into fraud

As part of an ongoing investigation into fraud, a man (aged in his 50s) has been arrested by gardaí attached to the Garda National Economic Crime Bureau (GNECB) on Friday.

The man is currently detained under the provisions of Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act 2007, at a Garda Station in the West Dublin area.

Gardaí said investigations are ongoing.
