Five people have been injured following a collision between three trucks and one car on the N25 at Ballyhobert, Youghal, Co. Cork.

The incident happened on Tuesday morning at approximately 6.55 am.

Five people have been conveyed to the hospital with injuries which are believed to be non-life-threatening.

The road is now reopened.

Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
