A man has been seriously injured in an e-scooter crash in Donaghmede in north Dublin.

The electric scooter and a car collided on Tonlegee Road at the junction with Tonlegee Avenue at 10am on Friday.

A man in his 30s who was riding the e-scooter was taken to Beaumont Hospital, where he is being treated for serious injuries.

No other injuries were reported.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses and camera footage of the incident.
