Pedestrian (50s) dies after collision with bus in Co Galway

A man in his 50s has died after a collision with a bus in Co Galway.

The collision took place on the N83 near Claregalway at about 2.10pm on Friday.

The man, who was a pedestrian on the road, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A technical exam of the scene has been conducted by forensic investigators and the road has fully reopened.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to the collision to come forward.
