Trolley watch: 448 people waiting for beds in Irish hospitals

The INMO (Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation) Trolley Watch figures show that 293 patients were waiting in emergency departments, while the remaining 155 were in wards elsewhere in the hospital.

There were a total of 448 patients waiting for a bed at Irish hospitals on Thursday morning.

The INMO (Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation) Trolley Watch figures show that 293 patients were waiting in emergency departments, while the remaining 155 were in wards elsewhere in the hospital.

There were a total of 90 patients waiting for beds at University Hospital Limerick, 52 at St Vincent's Universtiy Hospital, 46 at Universtiy Hospital Galway and 31 at Cork University Hospital.
