694 people were waiting for a bed in Irish hospitals on Monday morning, according to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO).

At University Hospital Limerick, 131 people are waiting for a bed, with 53 people in the emergency department.

In Cork University Hospital, there are 60 people on trolleys, with 54 patients in the emergency department.

At Sligo University Hospital, there are 54 people without a bed, with 30 people in the emergency department.
