The Irish language has surged in popularity in recent months, with more music and films being released in the language than ever before.

Belfast-based Irish language rap group Kneecap was shortlisted for an Oscar for their movie, which was predominantly in Irish, in the best international feature film category and for best original song for Sick In The Head.
