Figures from the Irish Midwives and Nurses Organisation (INMO) show there is 506 people without a bed in Irish hospitals.

335 patients are waiting in the emergency departments, while 171 are in wards elsewhere in hospitals.

The hospital with the highest amount of patients without a bed in University Hospital Limerick, with 90 people on trolleys.

32 people are in the emergency department with 58 elsewhere in the hospital.

At Cork University Hospital, there are 45 people without a bed, with 39 people in the emergency department.

At University Hospital Galway, there are 37 people without a bed, with 29 in the emergency department.
