Man dies after Co Offaly crash

A man in his 50s has died following a road crash in Co Offaly.

Shortly after noon on Monday, emergency services responded to the single-vehicle collision at Killaderry, Daingean.

The driver died a short time later.

The road at Killaderry was closed for technical examination by Garda forensic collision investigators and has since reopened.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to the collision to come forward.
