Man (20s) dies in single-vehicle collision in Co Meath

A man has died following a single-vehicle collision at at Oldcastle, Co. Meath.

The incident happened at approximately 2.20am on Tuesday morning.

The sole occupant of the car, a man in his 20s, was pronounced deceased at the scene a short time later.

The road is currently closed with local diversions in place. Garda Forensic Collision Investigators have been notified.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.

Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were in the area at the time are asked to make this footage available to Gardaí.
