Man (20s) charged in connection with armed robbery in Galway

A man has been arrested and charged in connection with an armed robbery in Co Galway.

The incident happened at a premises in Ballybrit last Saturdy, January 26th.

Gardaí searched a house on the eastern side of Galway City on Thursday, and arrested a man and woman, both in their 20s.

The woman was released without charge, while the man is due to appear before a special sitting of Galway District Court at 7pm on Friday evening.
