735 admitted patients were waiting for beds on Wednesday morning, according to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation's (INMO) trolley watch.

459 patients were waiting in emergency departments, while 276 waited in wards elsewhere in hospitals.

109 admitted patients were waiting for beds at University Hospital Limerick on Wednesday morning. 42 were waiting in the emergency department, while 67 were waiting in wards elsewhere.

At University Hospital Galway, 86 admitted patients were waiting for beds.

79 patients were waiting for beds at Cork Univeristy Hospital. 66 were waiting in the emergency department, while 13 waited in wards elsewhere.

At Sligo University Hospital, 59 admitted patients were waiting for beds.

11 children were waiting for beds between Our Lady's Children's Hospital, Crumlin, and Temple Street Children’s University Hospital.

39 admitted patients were waiting for beds at Mater Misericordiae University Hospital, while 38 waited at St Vincent's University Hospital and 27 waited at Beaumont Hospital.
