Gardaí investigate death of baby girl at Co Longford home

Gardaí have launched an investigation after the death of a baby in Co Longford.

The baby girl was found unresponsive at a residential property on Sunday morning.

A postmortem will be carried out on Monday, the results of which will determine the course of the investigation.

Gardaí said they were investigating all the circumstances surrounding the death.
