Serious overnight crash in Donegal

One of Co Donegal's busiest roads has been closed following a serious overnight crash.
The emergency services are at the scene of the incident on the N14 Lifford to Letterkenny road at Feddyglass.
Gardaí have introduced road diversions at the Ballinalecky crossroads to assist traffic using the road.
No details of the crash have yet been released.
Donegal County Council has issued a travel alert warning of the road closure and asking motorists to use alternative routes for "essential travel."
The council has confirmed that roads across the county are "treacherous" with numerous fallen trees at multiple locations.
The red wind warning in Donegal remains in place until at least 2pm this afternoon.
