Gardaí investigating the murder of William Moorhouse have arrested a seventh person as part of the investigation.

A man in his 30s was arrested by gardaí, and is being held at a Garda Station in the Wexford / Wicklow Division.

Two males, one a juvenile and one in his 20s, who were arrested on Tuesday, have been released without charge.

A postmortem was carried out on 36-year-old William Moorhouse by State pathologist Dr Sally Anne Collis on Tuesday.

The preliminary results were provided to the investigating team, but were not being released for operational purposes.

Following the results, gardaí said they had now commenced a murder investigation.
