The body of a man with serious injuries was found in Bray, Co Wicklow on Sunday, January 19th.

Shortly after 6pm gardaí and emergency services responded to an incident on Boghall Road, Bray, where a man was found unresponsive with serious injuries.

He was treated at the scene by emergency services but was prononced dead a short time later.

Gardaí are investigating all circumstances surrounding the death.

The scene is currently preserved for forensic and technical examination.

The Office of the State Pathologist and local coroner have been notified.

The services of the Garda Technical Bureau have been requested.

No arrests have been made at this time.

The investigation is ongoing, a garda statement said.
