Female pedestrian (80s) injured in Donegal collision dies

A female pedestrian (80s) who was seriously injured in a road traffic collision in Co Donegal on Tuesday, January 14th, has died.

The collision involved a car and two pedestrians and occurred on Main St, Buncrana.

The woman died at Letterkenny University Hosptial on Sunday.

The coroner has been notified and a post-mortem examination will be arranged.

Gardaí continue to appeal for witnesses to come forward.

Any road users who were travelling on Main St, Buncrana between 2pm-3pm on Tuesday, January 14th are urged to contact gardaí if they have any information or dash-cam footage.
